Hone AI allows learners to supplement Hone’s live class experiences by leveraging AI to practice and learn more about the topics covered in classes that learners have attended. Hone AI has the ability to adapt to what the learners bring to the table, meaning it is able to adapt to the needs of the learner. This experience allows learners to have a live conversation with the AI, whether it be spoken word or via chat.
Currently, Hone AI provides two unique experiences:
- Lessons: Lessons are designed to build motivation, teach skills, and practice all in one experience. This experience is similar to our current live class offerings as they typically have visual aids and will have a content element to the experience.
- Practice: Practice allows learners to practice the topics that have been covered in the live class or Lessons experience. This experience allows learners to work through a roleplay that allows them to practice the key elements and frameworks from their Hone class or work through a specific challenge that they may be facing.
When preparing to begin the AI Lessons experience, learners will be asked to:
- Be an active participant - Join from a quiet area where you can speak aloud.
- Make connections - Apply this topic to a scenario in your own life.
- Step out of your comfort zone - Engage with this lesson fully and honestly.

FAQ
- From the ‘AI Lessons’ Dashboard, learners are able to see the AI Lessons/Practices they have already completed.
-
Learners will need to give Hone microphone permissions in their browser if they would like to proceed with the conversational AI Lessons/Practice experience. Hone will initially ask learners for permission, but if a learner accidentally says 'no' and then needs to change it later, the platform can't re-prompt them; they need to go give the permission to the microphone themselves.
